Our Mission –
San Diego Social Leagues incorporated San Diego into our name for a reason. We LOVE our city!! We firmly believe that we can bring people together, strengthen each community and San Diego as a whole, using recreational sports and events as the catalyst. So many great things come from sports, especially when the nature of competition is primarily social. Strangers become friends, introduced through San Diego Social Leagues' sports leagues and events that otherwise never would have met or bonded. Recreational sports can also help relieve stress which makes us healthier mentally and physically. Playing as a company or business team can bring the company or business closer by bonding outside of work and socialize, while making serendipitous business contacts. Ultimately we think it to be most important to bring together people of all walks of life so that we can begin to see our commonalities rather than what makes us different, break down barriers and progressively prosper as people. As a community. As ONE San Diego!!

Nate Cavicchi, Head Trainer
From a very early age I was always around athletics, fitness, and coaching. My father was a high school teacher, as well as a coach formultiple sports throughout the school year. With the love for sports, and the experience of growing up with a father who was an avid coach, I chose to study Exercise Physiology and Nutrition at the University of Massachusetts – Lowell. I knew this route would allow me to stay closeto the realm of athletics and fitness.
After taking university level course in Exercise Prescription and Programming, I became fascinated with strength and conditioning and fitness programming. I graduated with my bachelor’s degree and became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and also underwent a 5-day training program at one of the elite speed and agility schools in the country.
I am equipped to work with anyone from middle school to high-level athletes to increase their foundational athleticism (acceleration, top speed, agility, power, strength, endurance), as well as general fitness clients of all ages. I have been working as both a strength and conditioning coach, and a personal trainer for the 5 years. Whether you have goals of simple weight loss, or enhancing your on field performance, I am here to help you get there!!
